Nara Sake 奈良地酒

It was late afternoon, and time to look for a happy hour drinking place. We walked around the Kintetsu Nara station, and chanced upon this shop with sake barrels at the door. We walked around further before turning back to this izakaya.

This place 奈良の酒蔵全部呑み has sakes from 30 breweries in Nara. Where else to better try local sakes 地酒. There was a menu of the sakes, or you could just look at the fridge. There tasting came in 3 sizes - 50ml, 100ml and 130ml.

The staff would take your order. Fetch the big standard 1.8ml bottles in the cart (3 of them below), and pour before you.

We had quite a few tastings. Below were just 3 of them.

There was light finger food as well. Nice izayaka for Nara sakes.
