Chicken Sashimi 鶏刺身盛合わせ

We were looking for place for dinner in Nara. We found a place Yamato Shusai Shunbou (大和酒彩 しゅん坊). The restaurant received fresh chicken and vegetable every day from its suppliers. And hence, it was able to serve raw chicken sashimi. We had previously eaten very good chicken sashimi at Kyoto.

We ordered a plate of assorted chicken sashimi (鶏刺身盛合わせ), something like assorted fish sashimi. It was delicious, and you could taste the sweetness in the meat.

We also ordered our usual yakitori favourites. Grilled liver and soft bones (ミックス軟骨炙り焼き).

There was also a special recommendation of male and female chicken wings (手羽炙り焼きオス/メス) . Noticed the difference in sizes.

We ordered some local sakes to go with the food. Chicken sashimi is definitely a dish that I would recommend to people who don't mind raw food.
