New Akan Hotel ニュー阿寒ホテル.

There were a few onsen districts in Hokkaido. We decided to stay at Lake Akan onsen (阿寒湖温泉). This was considered eastern hokkaido. Lake Akan was also born from the eruption of a volcano. We stayed in the New Akan Hotel. Despite the name, the facilities were quite old. However the hotel had a pool at the top. The night skies were amazing.

During our stay at the hotel, we had buffet dinner. In Hokkaido, I would advise to select buffet dinners, as the spread was usually very good, and you could choose what you want to eat. We also opted for 2 hours drink all you can.

Part of the movie《非诚勿扰》was shot here. One of the shop displaying that actress 舒淇 had been here before.

Outside the hotel, there were some shops and eateries. All the way to the end, we come to the Ainu Kotan. A short street which many souvenir shops selling Ainu handicrafts.
