Amimoto 網元

Wakkanai is the northernmost city in Japan. It was dark when we reached our hotel. We were hungry and went looking for dinner. There wasn't really much choice around us.

We were fortunate to find a local restaurant manned by a very old couple. This eatery was started in 1968.

Here is a page showing the famous dishes. The menu was very worn.

Here was the famous 磯辺焼き (Isobeyaki). It was supposed to have 24 flavours of shell fish.

In the menu, there were also news articles about this restaurant. As written in the Chinese article, you would need to wait a while for the food to be prepared. The couple also stopped taking in customers after a short while, knowing that they might not be able to handle.
