It was oyster season. Hotel Seashore Resort offered oyster buffet for dinner ( 室津牡蠣⾷べ放題コース). Similar to typical dinner course, there would be sashimi, soup, etc. However for this buffet course, we could have repeat orders for fried oysters, grilled oysters and oysters with rice.
Murotsu oysters (室津牡蠣) was from Murotsu (室津) port district in Tatsuno, Hyogo that had a history of 1,300 years. And it was less than 10km from the hotel.
We found out that most of the oysters served around here were grilled. We preferred the fried ones and rice.
