Himeji Castle 姫路城

Himejijō (姫路城) is the famous white castle of Himeji, of Japan. This castle is about 400 years old and is one of the original castles in Japan that was never rebuilt.

We had some time to spend in Himeji. The castle was a short distance from the Himeji station. There were shopping streets between the castle and the station, so we were eating and drinking along the way. Unfortunately it was a cloudy day, and our photos did not do justice to its magnificent looks.

We also past by Himeji castle last year in the night. And the appearance of the white castle was even more spectacular.

We could actually see the castle from the station. Below was a zoom in picture with our Huawei P30 Pro.
